What We Do
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is committed to high quality arts and cultural programming and over the last twelve years has commissioned and developed an exciting range of festivals including the Festival of World Cultures, the Poetry Now Festival and the Youth Dance Festival, the Concourse Visual Arts Exhibition, the Artist Residency programme, the Artists in Schools Programme and most recently the Public Art Programme.
In 2006 the Council, in partnership with local and national agencies and organisations prepared a three-year Strategic Vision for the development of arts in the County. On November 12th 2006 Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council ratified the first strategic plan for the county - Strategy for the Arts (2007 - 2010)
This website provides an online archive of previous festival programmes, exhibitions, residencies and events and links to arts organisation in the area.
