This project is located at Springhill Park, Mount Albany and refers to the construction of a new tennis pavilion. The aim was to produce a modest secure single-storey building to augment the current tennis facilities. The structure has minimum visual impact on the open area and neighbouring structures and has been constructed to modern energy efficient standards. The connection to the courts through the use of appropriate glazing and a viewing terrace is important to the function of the building. Security is provided by integrated sliding shutters across the front of the building.

The new pavilion provides for toilets, changing rooms, external store, coach’s room, games/committee room, kitchenette, and club room. The works also included the construction of new paths and ramps which has led to greater access around the park for the general public. The project was complete in March 2019 with the building currently being managed on behalf of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council by Newtownpark Tennis Club.
