Proposed Development by Council - Halting Site Bays at Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended), Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of a proposal to provide Traveller specific accommodation at Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines, Co. Dublin:-

4 no. Halting Site bays (each to comprise a hard standing area for mobile/caravan and a day house with kitchen/living room, utility room and bathroom) and access road.

In accordance with S.I 476, 2011, Section 250, Planning and Development (Amendment) (No 3) Regulations, 2011 the Council has carried out a screening and it has been determined that an Appropriate  Assessment is not required.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection from 7th April 2016 up to and including 19th May 2016 at the Housing Department or the Planning and Organisational Innovation Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm.,  at the Council offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum between the hours of 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm or under dlr consultations on the Council’s website homepage www.dlrcoco.ie.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, and dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area may be made on or before 2nd June 2016 as follows

(a)    In writing to Ann Hegarty, Senior Executive Officer, Housing Department, Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council,  County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire

(b)   Dlr consultations on the Council’s website at www.dlrcoco.ie or

(c)    By email to housing@dlrcoco.ie

Submissions and Observations should be clearly marked “Proposed Development at Glenamuck Road”
