Proposed Housing Development at Assistant Harbour Master's House, Queens Road, Dun Laoghaire

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended), Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of a proposal to refurbish an existing single dwelling and its division into two apartments at the former Assistant Harbour Master's House, 2 Queens Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, (this site is located within an Architectural Conservation Area):-

1 x one-bed unit and 1 x two-bed unit

In accordance with S.I 476, 2011, Section 250, Planning and Development (Amendment) (No 3) Regulations, 2011 the Council has carried out a screening and it has been determined that an Appropriate Assessment is not required.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection from 11th March 2016 up to and including 22nd April 2016 at the Housing Department and Planning and Organisational Innovation Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm,  at the Council offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum between the hours 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm and under dlr consultations on the Council’s website homepage www.dlrcoco.ie.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, and dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area may be made on or before 6th May 2016 as follows

(a)    In writing to Ann Hegarty, Senior Executive Officer, Housing Department, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire

(b)   Dlr consultations on the Council’s website at www.dlrcoco.ie or

Submissions and Observations should be clearly marked “Assistant Harbour Master's House”
