A Rebuilding Ireland Home Loan is a new Government-backed mortgage for first time buyers. It is available nationwide from all local authorities and allows first time buyers to apply for a loan to purchase new or second-hand property, or to build their own home.

First-time buyers can borrow up to 90% of the market value of the property, subject to maximum market values of €320k in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow, and €250k in the rest of the country.
