Intro Text

dlr Libraries are once again participating in the nationwide Summer Stars reading adventure.

Be a Summer Star! Summer Reading in dlr Libraries is back for 2017! This year's theme is "Be a Summer Star" and, as always, we love to encourage all children to continue to read over the summer months. Simply sign up at your local library for Summer Reading.

Each child who registers for the programme at their local library joins in the fun of reading lots of exciting books during the summer. Children will receive their own Summer Stars Reading Card to record their progress and the Summer Stars Reward Stamp will be added to their card at the library for each card read. Fun rewards will be provided along the way.

With every reading card completed, you can enter our competition for great prizes and a chance to attend a lovely prize-giving ceremony in dlr LexIcon on Saturday, 23 September.

Last year our prize winners walked away with family passes to Dublin Zoo and Airfield, as well as a digital tablet, and lots of great vouchers for dlr Leisure and IMC cinema. This year it could be you! So don't delay and drop into your local dlr library to sign up straight away.
