Essential Resurfacing Works to Old Dun Laoghaire Road

The Roads Maintenance Section of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has requested the temporary Closure of the N31, (Old Dunleary Road) Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin from Salthill DART station to Cumberland Street to facilitate Road resurfacing works.  The period of the closure is between the hours of 7pm to 5am on the nights 11/12July 2016. 

The road closure will extend to the adjacent Link Road (opposite Salthill DART station), Longford Terrace, and Cumberland Street.

Local access and Emergency access will be provided at all times.   Works of higher noise levels will be restricted to the hours 7pm to 11pm.  

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversion routes will be signposted.

A diversion route will be signposted via Cumberland Street, Monkstown Crescent, Monkstown Road, Temple Hill, Newtown Avenue, Seapoint Avenue and vice versa.

The left turn only at the bottom of Cumberland Street will need to be temporarily suspended for the duration of the Closure.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire or via email at traffic@dlrcoco.ie on or before 12 noon on 1st July 2016
