Intro Text 

A letter of compliance confirms that a developer has complied with conditions in grants of planning permission where financial contributions were attached. These can be in the form of Bond or Development contribution conditions. 

A unit/dwelling cannot be sold unless a letter of compliance has been issued by a Local Authority confirming payment of the financial conditions.

 You are in breach of your Planning permission if these payments are not made in full. 

 

Fees for letters of compliance only appliy to the second and subsequent sales of a dwelling unit.
There is no fee for compliance letters in relation to the sale of a new house/dwelling.

- Your request must include all Planning register reference numbers e.g D16A/0543 and or the An Bord Pleanála reference number
- The unit number that is being requested
- The full address of the unit being bought/sold
- The fee for a letter of compliance €40
