The dlr Public Participation Network (PPN) is the main framework for public engagement and participation.  The PPN connects with Community, Social Inclusion and Environmental sectors.

The aim of the PPN is to facilitate and enable the public and organisations to voice their  views and interests within the local government system.

31 PPN representatives from different groups/organisations have been elected to various county structures where they represent the views and interests of the dlr PPN and its wider membership.  .

The representatives, covering community & voluntary, environment; and social inclusion groups/organisations have been elected on to County Joint Policing Committee (JPC), DLR Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and the 6 Strategic Policy Committees (SPC) of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
