These amendments arose from the introduction in December 2015 of the "Sustainable Urban Housing: Design Standards for New Apartments Guidelines for Planning Authorities". The application of the policy standards in these Guidelines resulted in inconsistencies within the approved Planning Scheme which required clarification and amendment. This application included Amendment No. 5 which related to retail sequencing, which was subsequently withdrawn from the statutory process.
