Notice of Pre-Planning Application Consultations

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice, under Section 247 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), of its intention to hold consultations with interested parties who wish to make a planning application for a development in the Council’s functional area.

he Planning Authority will keep a record of any such consultations, which will be a matter of public record in the event of a subsequent planning application in respect of the proposed development.

Consultations may be by phone, email or appointment at the offices of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

Interested parties who wish to consult under Section 247 of the above Act should complete the application for pre-planning consultation which can be downloaded from the council’s website 

Pre Planning Application Consultations - Further Information

Application forms are also available at the Planning Counter, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire and the Council Offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum.  

The carrying out of such consultations shall not prejudice the performance by a Planning Authority of any other of its functions under the above Act, or any regulations made under the above Act, and cannot be relied upon in the formal planning process or in legal proceedings.
