Intro Text 

The Community Environment Action Fund, (previously known as the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund or LA21), promotes sustainable development at a local level by funding small scale, non-profit environmental projects, that make a significant difference in local communities. The scheme was launched by Mr. Richard Bruton, T.D., Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment on Wednesday, 21st August 2019.

 

Eligible projects support and complement national environmental policies such as those on Waste, Biodiversity, Climate Change, Air, Water and Sustainable Development. A list of projects previously supported through this grant, can be viewed online on the DCCAE website www.dccae.gov.ie

Application forms

The 2019 / 2020 Community Environment Action Fund (Local Agenda 21) is open for applications. Application forms are available to download on this page under related documents. Completed application forms must be returned to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council by 5pm on 27 September 2019. Late applications cannot be accepted.

 

Submitting an application to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council

Completed application forms should be returned by 5pm on 27 September 2019 to;

  • Email: EnvAware@dlrcoco.ie.  
  • Post: Environmental Awareness Officer, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Council County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co.Dublin, A96 K6C9.

Applicants will receive an acknowledgement within five working days.
