Nature Wildlife Areas - Slow to Mow
Part of the management plan for Nature Wildlife areas involves cutting and removing the vegetation from many of our sites twice a year.
The first cut of the year will take place over the next few weeks across the county.
Carrying out this management practice removes excess nutrients from the sites and encourages the natural regeneration of wildflowers. The signs will remain in place and the grass will be allowed to grow again over the next few months.
