Read MoreJuliette is an illustrator and mural artist based in Dublin but she works nationally (and internationally!). She moved to Ireland to study animation and illustration and since graduating has been heavily involved in the Dublin street art scene.
Juliette was formerly lead artist for the Dublin Canvas Project and through it, she designed and painted large and small scale murals all around the city. Now a freelance artist, she has continued to paint murals with particular focuses on helping disadvantaged communities re-take pride in where they live; and in showing kids how they can use different artforms as new tools to communicate their ideas and feelings.
Juliette has collaborated with schools, universities, Dublin City Council, DCC Culture Company and with major festivals like Waterford Walls to do this. Street art is not her only focus though, Juliette continues to work as an illustrator for commissioned pieces and exhibitions, and through her work with the DreamWriters platform. Her illustration work includes a major programme to engage children in science that involves the AMBER research centre in Trinity College Dublin together with universities in Germany, Spain and France creating educational illustrations for the multi-million euro Sun-Pilot research project.
Juliette's piece for Dún Laogahire Anseo 2022 uses a pastel colour palette to evoke local marine life.
