Inspired By Sound
Following a period of collaboration, the artist, musician and award-winning arts and music facilitator, Jonthan Reynolds, and six young people with intellectual disabilities from St. John of God's Service, presented their work at a sold out performance at the Studio Theatre, dlr LexIcon on the 12 May 2017. These original compositions, which had been inspired by everyday sounds, were performed live using a selection of electronic insruments, and accompanied by guest musicians Marc Aubele and performers from the Oxytocin project.
This project was funded by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's All Aboard Youth Arts Commission.
