Housing for All is a Housing Plan for Ireland and sets out the government’s ambition to increase the provision of social housing. There is an emphasis on new-build by Local Authorities in order to ensure that housing is available for individuals and families who are in need of housing support. We are actively working towards this objective through the construction of new homes under the Build programme. Some of the schemes under development include:

Part V
A developer of a residential development of 10 or more homes needs to comply with our Housing Strategy. This is in line with the act.
An agreement needs to be reached with us, unless the developer has applied for and been granted an exemption certificate under the act.

Rockville Green, Glenamuck
This site is under construction and the delivery of 13 new homes is expected towards the end of 2025.
Shanganagh Residential Lands
Construction is underway at this site with delivery of:
• 597 homes,
• a crèche facility,
• a local shop and cafe,
• several resident services and amenities.
We, in partnership with the Land Development Agency (LDA), the first of these homes were delivered in 2024, with the rest in 2025.
St. Laurence's Park, Stillorgan
Construction has commenced with the delivery of 88 new homes expected towards the end of 2025.
Roebuck Road (infill site), Clonskeagh
4 new homes are being constructed on this site with delivery expected in early 2025.
Wood Park TAU
3 new homes, to be delivered in Q1 2026
St. Michaels TAU
