HOW TO USE PARKING TAG

The Parking Tag Pay by Phone initiative complements the existing Paid Parking  arrangements and will work in every paid parking area of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.  The motorist parks in any of the Council's paid parking spaces and makes the transaction by a short phone call or by sending a text message.  The service is ready to use immediately after registration and provides motorists with the choice of paying for parking without having to buy a ticket from a meter.

Once registered, motorists are required to check local signage, look for the two letter zone code and send a text containing the word Park, the zone code and parking duration in minutes, e.g. Park DA 60 = Parking in zone DA for 60 minutes.  To avail of the discounted daily parking rate, text Park, the zone and 1d, e.g. Park DA 1d = Parking in zone DA for 1 day.

Motorists who are unsure of the zone or do not see signage should call 0818 300 161.

Full information on Parking Tag is available at www.parkingtag.ie or by phoning the Parking Tag call centre on 0818 300 161.
