Dun Laoghaire is home to perhaps the most iconic harbour in the country  (Dun Laoghaire Harbour was completed in 1816).  The town is also the setting for over 200 years of stories from the diaspora , for vivid tales of ship wrecks and for all kinds of myths and legends..
