Meet the Fleet

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's fleet depot, located in Ballyogan Operations Centre, is home to the impressive Fleet Section responsible for managing 310 vehicles. These vehicles range from cars, vans, lorries to road sweepers, gritters, gully trucks, bin lorries, beach, and park vehicles.

Notably, 18 vehicles in our fleet are operated on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), showcasing our commitment to environmentally friendly practices. As we enter 2025, we are conducting a thorough assessment of our fleet, with a particular focus on replacing aged vehicles to modernise our operations.

See below for up-close look at our vehicles and witness the dedication of our team in maintaining and improving our fleet. This year marks an exciting chapter for the Ballyogan Operations Centre Fleet Section as we strive to enhance our efficiency and sustainability efforts. Stay tuned for updates on our progress and the changes ahead.
