Celebrating 30 Years of Arts in Primary Schools

We are delighted to celebrate 30 years of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s Arts in Primary Schools Programme this academic year. It began in 1994, and we are proud to support this programme every year. Thousands of school children have benefited from this programme since it began. The programme has been supported by Blackrock Education Centre since 2008. We would like to thank all the teachers that have taken part and encourage teachers new to the programme to apply.

To mark this big birthday, a worksheet for children by celebrated illustrator Chris Judge has been sent to all the Primary Schools in the County, highlighting the many ways of being creative.
