Christmas Pop Up at the Royal Marine Hotel
Fifty eight Irish brands and businesses are coming together on 10th December for the biggest ever IRISH POP-UP COLLECTIVE . The event will feature some of the best Irish fashion, interiors, craft, beauty and gifts making it the perfect place to shop all things Christmas.
The event will feature 58 Irish brands and businesses including fashion brands - Úna Burke, Begley & Bowie, Native Denim, Emerald and Wax, Cleo Prickett, Pearl Reddington, Jill & Gill, accessories brands - Ale Walsh, August Night, Peelo, Vivian Walsh, Capulet and Montague, interiors brands - KaÏko, Sinead O’Moore Ceramics, Kopper Kreation, Sea Studio and Two Wooden Horses. Beauty brands - Dalkey Handmade Soaps, NunaÏa, Waters & Wild and Wild Rose Botanicals, children’s brands Pom Pom Pirate, Mimi & Bowe and Tales for Tadpoles, and food and drink brands Braw Chocolate, Wild About Sauces, Mella’s Fudge, Strudel Bakery and Mr L Cocktails. And for the first time ever the IPUC will feature Christmas themed workshops - Festive Floral Wreaths, Macramé Decorations and Block Print Furoshiki Wrapping. Attendees can learn how to create a beautiful Christmas experience in their own home this season.

ASTRL Fibres designs are handcrafted by Alison Pascoe in her Belfast studio. An artist and craftsperson specialising in the practice of Alison Macramé, Alison uses traditional knot work and cord weaving techniques to handcraft objects and artworks for modern spaces. Deeply rooted in generational skills, her distinctive work explores new perspectives on traditional craft. Alison takes inspiration from historical textile and knot craft techniques alongside the patterns and colours found in the built and natural spaces we live in.

Block Print A Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth - link here to book
Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths used to wrap and/or to transport goods and gifts. Block print your own wrapping cloth using water based dyes and choose from my extensive collection of Indian wood blocks.
Throughout the class, you'll discover the Japanese technique of Furoshiki and embrace sustainable art by block printing your own reusable fabric wraps.
You will have two Furoshiki wraps plus a drawstring bag to print onto.
The IPUC event is free and takes place in the Carlisle Suite at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire from 10am-7pm on Sunday 10th December.
