Event Description

dlr Yarnspinners Storytelling Circle is aimed at gathering people together who are interested in listening to and sharing stories. Pull up a chair by our virtual fireplace and a professional storyteller will share their stories, then open the floor to those who have their own stories to tell. No pressure to tell, all listeners are welcome!

October's guest will be Vincent Kiely.

Vincent Kiely is a writer and storyteller from Moyne, near Thurles in Country Tipperary. He is a lover of what he calls “creative oral storytelling.” He is a member of “The Gab” storytellers in Cork, and of “Storytellers of Ireland.” He is working on an oral epic called Scéalta na Muimhneach, The Stories of the Munster Men, set in the ancient Irish kingdom of Munster.
