Easter Eggscapade is the brand new event from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for kids to celebrate easter in style. Admission to Easter Eggscapade is free with no ticket needed so please join us from 1pm to 5pm on Easter Saturday March 30th 2024 in Blackrock Park for an unmissable start to the easter weekend.

Easter Eggscapade has an Alice in Wonderland theme with costume characters like the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and a girl called Alice helping to turn Blackrock Park into a curious world.

Get curious and solve the clues on the Easter Egg Trail to win one of the hundreds of Easter treats. Get busy with our Make and Do team to create your own Easter Bonnet or Mad Hat. We will have the materials and give you all the help you need on the day. When your hat is ready show it off at the Hatwalk Fashion Show.

There’s fun to be had on the Teacup Carousel or the easter rabbit powered egg-citing Bouncy Castles. Cycle to Easter Eggscapade and be in to win a prize for the best Easter decorated bicycle. Then decorate yourself for Easter with a visit to our expert Facepainters.
