dlr LexIcon will work with Spain Hughes Fagan to create Rubblebots, code-driven chassis built into moving robots with recycling material. 

The teams will grab what they need from a pile of rubble, bottle tops, cardboard, paper, kitchen towel rolls, feathers, CDs, balloons, and googly eyes. Working together using their engineering skills and imagination families will build a battle-worthy Bot. Moving to the arena, teams will drive their RubbleBot from the computers with easy JavaScript code through a series of fun and funny challenges. This workshop is for older children (10 years plus), and adults must take an active part.  

NB. Families cannot take the Rubblebots home.
