Proposed Amendment No. 12 Sequencing & Phasing 2,300 Threshold

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in its role as Planning Authority, lodged Proposed Amendment No. 12 to An Bord Pleanála to amend the Cherrywood SDZ Planning Scheme 2014 (as amended) on Friday, 30th May 2025 in accordance with Section 170(A) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended).

The purpose of this review is to modify the sequencing and phasing of the delivery of homes in the Cherrywood SDZ, and bring forward 500 no. residential units, taking cognisance of additional capacity in the transportation network that has now become available.  

An Bord Pleanála, as the competent authority, have advised that this matter has been assigned case reference: ZE06D.322666 and the matter is due to be determined by 6th October 2025. Please see link to the Board's webpage: https://www.pleanala.ie/en-ie/case/322666
