Homes we are delivering through our Build Programme

Housing for All is a new Housing Plan for Ireland and sets out the government’s ambition to increase the provision of social housing.  There is an emphasis on new-build by Local Authorities in order to ensure that housing is available for individuals and families who are in need of housing support. We are actively working towards this objective through the construction of new homes under the Build programme. Some of the schemes under development include:

Part V

A developer of a residential development of 10 or more homes needs to comply with our Housing Strategy. This is in line with the act. 

An agreement needs to be reached with us, unless the developer has applied for and been granted an exemption certificate under the act.

Schemes on-site:

Rockville Green, Glenamuck

This site is under construction and the delivery of 13 new homes is expected towards the end of 2025. 

Park House, George's Street, Dún Laoghaire

Construction has commenced on 4 new homes on this site with delivery expected towards the end of 2024.

Shanganagh Residential Lands

Construction is underway at this site with delivery of:

• 597 homes,
• a crèche facility,
• a local shop and cafe,
• several resident services and amenities.

We, in partnership with the Land Development Agency (LDA), expect to deliver the first of these homes in Q3 2024. 

51 Affordable Purchase houses have been advertised and applications have closed.

Rollins Villas (infill site), Sallynoggin

The construction of 1 new property on this site is almost complete with delivery expected in Q3 2024.

St. Laurence's Park, Stillorgan

Construction has commenced with the delivery of 88 new homes expected towards the end of 2025.

Roebuck Road (infill site), Clonskeagh

4 new homes are being constructed on this site with delivery expected in early 2025.

Completed Schemes:

Loughlinstown View, Loughlinstown

42 new homes constructed on this site provided by us.  These homes were delivered in conjunction with Co-Operative Housing Ireland, Loughlinstown Co-Op, the Housing Finance Agency and us. New homes were delivered here in Q1 2024.

Moyola Court (infill site),  Churchtown

4 new homes were delivered here in Q1 2024.

Coast Guard Cottages

4 new homes were delivered here in Q4 2023.

Ballyogan Square, Ballyogan (Phase 1)

67 new homes were delivered here in Q2 2023. 

Enniskerry Road, Dublin 18

This Scheme was completed in Q1 2022 delivering 155 new homes including 50 cost-rental homes. This project was delivered between the Housing Agency, Respond and Tuath Housing Associations, the Housing Finance Agency and us. 

Broadford Court, Ballinteer

This development was designed for our senior citizens.  It provides 21 new one-bed homes, a community room and a plant room. Construction started in August 2017 and completed in November 2021.

Ballyogan Avenue, Ballyogan

This project was the redevelopment of the former local resource centre into 2 x two-bed apartments to be used for social housing. Construction started in February 2020 and this scheme was completed in March 2021.

Abbeyview House, Monkstown

11 new homes for social housing were constructed on this site provided by us.   This project was delivered together with Clúid Housing Association, the Housing Finance Agency and us. This scheme was completed in November 2020. 

Fitzgerald Park, Mounttown

50 homes consisting of a mixture of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bed houses and apartments were completed in phases between December 2018 and throughout 2019.  

Rosemount Court, Dúndrum

44 homes consisting of a mixture of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bed houses and apartments were completed on 5th December 2018. New tenants commenced moving in on the same day.

Rochestown Gardens (Phase 3), Sallynoggin

14 homes consisting of 12 x one-bed and 2 x two-bed homes were completed on the 19th October 2018. This is the final stage of the refurbishment and redevelopment at Rochestown House.  New tenants commenced moving in on the 23rd October 2018.

Pottery Road, Glenageary

4 x one-bed homes were completed on the 10th August 2018. The tenants commenced moving in on 13th August 2018.

The Brambles, Sallynoggin

10 x one-bed homes were completed on 11th June 2018. New tenants commenced moving in on 18th June 2018. Six of the homes are fully accessible and all homes have a level access shower.

George’s Place, Dún Laoghaire

12 homes consisting of 12 x 2-bed 2 storey homes were completed on 6th June 2018. Tenants commenced moving in on 11th June 2018.

Temple Road, Blackrock

3 homes consisting of 2 x 2-bed duplex home and 1 x 3-bed ground floor fully accessible home were completed on 1st June 2018. Tenants commenced moving in on 6th June 2018.

The Mews, Sallynoggin

4 x one-bed homes over 2 storeys were completed on Friday 8th December 2017. New tenants commenced moving in on Monday 11th December 2017.

St Michael’s Terrace, Dún Laoghaire

4 homes consisting of 3 x one-bed and 1 x four-bed homes were completed on the 6th of September 2017. New tenants commenced moving in on the 12th September 2017.
