Local Elections 2024
Local Electoral Areas
The Local Elections will take place on Friday, 7th June 2024. The Local Elections will see 40 Councillors elected on to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. There are 40 Councillors who represent the following 6 Local Electoral Areas (LEAs) in the County:
- Blackrock LEA (6 Councillors)
- Dundrum LEA (7 Councillors)
- Dún Laoghaire LEA (7 Councillors)
- Glencullen-Sandyford LEA (7 Councillors)
- Killiney-Shankill LEA (7 Councillors)
- Stillorgan LEA (6 Councillors)

Count Results
The Count will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June at Building 1 Cherrywood Business Park, Cherrywood, Co Dublin. All results will be published on our website and live streamed via our You Tube channel @DLRofficial

To have your photograph on the ballot paper it must be included with your nomination form. Details of the photograph requirements are included on page 5 of the nomination paper.
