Long Road to Longitude was a flagship event for the Grainstore, dlr's youth arts facility running since 2015. This battle of the bands, where the winners got the chance to play at Longitude was organised and presented by CANVAS Youth Arts Committee, in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and MCD Productions. The competition was open to bands and solo artists aged 13 – 25 years who are from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County.
