We wish to develop local, accessible playground facilities in the Clonkeen Park area of Deansgrange.

The proposed playground will principally cater for local children of mixed age groups up to twelve with supervising adults.

This consultation aims to engage with the community, to gather ideas and local insight, to form the basis of the new playground design. Local communities are being invited to complete this online survey and share their ideas.

This feedback will help create a brief and specification for the playground to be tendered out to design and build, during 2025.

The consultation program aims to:

  • Determine the main users of the playground.
  • Determine support for the playground.
  • Gather ideas from the community for the playground design.

Community engagement activities being undertaken as part of this process include:

  • Public Consultation Survey
  • Posters promoting the consultations
  • Social media
  • Engagement with local Councillors

An information workshop will be held 6.30 - 7.30pm Monday 2 December in Kill O'The Grange Parish Hall, Kill Lane, Deansgrange.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend to mgordon@mco.ie
