Bins & Toilets Installed Across The County

In preparation for an increase in visitors and patrons across the County this Bank Holiday weekend, we have installed additional toilets and bins around dlr over the last few weeks.

We have installed portaloos in the following locations:
• Don Marmion Car Park, Dundrum – 3 regular, 1 disability access
• Blackrock DART Station – 2 regular, 1 disability access
• Dalkey, Archibold’s Castle – 2 regular, 1 disability access
• East Pier Lighthouse
• Toilet Cabin – Carlisle Pier

Temporary toilet installations at Newtownsmith and Sandycove commenced this week and will be ready in the next 2 weeks.

We also have public toilets available at the following park areas:
• Marlay Park - 4 locations
• Cabinteely Park - 2 locations
• People's Park
• Shanganagh Park / Cemetery
• Deansgrange Cemetery

We also have public toilets available at the following beaches & bathing areas:
• Killiney Beach - Carpark adjacent to the DART station
• Seapoint - Adjacent to the Martello tower
• White rock / Vico Road
• Sandycove Avenue West - a Universal Superloo is located here. This is accessible 24/7. There is a charge of 0.50c for usage.

We have provided the following additional bins spread throughout the County:
• 18 x 1100litre bins
• 15 barrel bins
• 38 new smart bins installed
• 7 smart recycling waste bins installed
• Two pizza box bins are now active in Blackrock and Dalkey
