Road Works Speed Limit Orderon the M50 and M11 Motorways in the County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown
Notice is hereby given that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in exercise of the powers under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, in the interests of road safety and to facilitate the resurfacing of the M50 and M11 motorways, has made an Order entitled Road Works Speed Limit Order, No.2 of 2020 on the M50 and M11 motorways in the County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown to apply a road works speed limit as follows:
M50/M11 Southbound will run from 24th August 2020 until 4th September 2020
Description of speed limit order 80km/hr:
- Part of the Southbound M50 between a point 535 metres North of the existing Stonebridge Road overbridge to a point 35 metres North of the existing Stonebridge Road overbridge
(Total 500m in length).
Description of speed limit order 60km/hr:
- Part of the Southbound M50 & M11 between a point 35 metres North of the existing Stonebridge Road overbridge to a point 505 metres North of the existing M11 Junction 5 overbridge
(Total 2130m in length).
- Part of the Southbound M11 merge from a point 45 metres North of the pedestrian overbridge adjacent Loughlinstown Roundabout to the end of the merge taper
(Total 1740m in length).
M50/M11 Northbound will run from 28th August 2020 until 11th September 2020
Description of speed limit order 80km/hr:
- Part of the Northbound M11 between a point 125 metres South of the existing Old Connaught Avenue overbridge to a point 10 metres South of the existing M11 Junction 5 overbridge
(Total 500m in length).
Description of speed limit order 60km/hr:
- Part of the Northbound M11 between a point 10 metres South of the existing M11 Junction 5 overbridge to a point 5 metres South of the existing M50 J17 (M11) overbridge
(Total 2160m in length).
- Part of the Northbound M11 diverge at M50 Junction 17 from the start of the diverge taper to a point on N11 45 metres North of the pedestrian overbridge (adjacent Loughlinstown Roundabout)
(Total 1850m in length).
