2 - Well Worth the Climb - This map guides you around the uplands of the county with the most spectacular views of the city and Dublin Bay. Find your way to zip-lining, horse riding, climbing, trekking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and the start of the well known Wicklow Way, a 32km (82 mile) trail that starts in dlr and makes it way up through the Wicklow mountain range. 7 - Dun Laoghaire Harbour Trail - Download the Dublin Discovery Trails APP here
Construction began on Dun Laoghaire Harbour's walls in 1817 to shelter incoming vessels from the turbulent waters of Dublin Bay.
This ten-stop trail starts at the Tourist Information Kiosk - adjacent to the Dun Laoghaire train (DART) station - and guides you all the way down the well known East Pier. Enjoy views of Howth, Dublin Bay, Scotsman's Bay and the coast down south to Sandycove. The map is also available in PDF. Download map below
8 - DL Anseo Trail . Download the Dublin Discovery Trails APP here
"Anseo" is the Irish language word for HERE. The Anseo Trail consists of over 25 pieces of unique urban street art dotted around the town of Dun Laoghaire and its harbour.
Each piece tells its own story about the town of Dun Laoghaire and its people past and present.
The trail guides the visitor around the town and gives a brief understanding of the inspiration behind the art piece.
