Are you a relative of someone who was impacted by the Civil War in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown?
27 April 2023
dlr County
As part of the national Decade of Centenaries 2023 programme, a ceremony for a healing moment of reconciliation, remembering everyone who lost their lives in the Civil War, is being organised by the Department of the Taoiseach. This will be an outdoor, televised event in the Garden of Remembrance in Dublin on Sunday the 28th of May.
The Department of the Taoiseach is looking to ensure close relatives of those directly impacted by the Civil War have an opportunity to attend, while balancing this with capacity constraints.
If you are interested in attending the ceremony please forward contact details to dblack@dlrcoco.ie or to the dlrcc Heritage Officer at 01 2054700 by Thursday May 4th.
