Haunted Houses and Creepy Castles of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, a collection of ghost stories from the big houses of the county was launched by An Cathaoirleach Lettie McCarthy at Cabinteely House on 22 October, just in time for Halloween!
The ghost stories for children, written by David Gunning, dlr Historian in Residence and illustrated by Katelyn McKenna, is available to purchase at dlr LexIcon (Level 4) and Dubray Dún Laoghaire for €3.
The publication is part of a wider programme of events exploring The Big Houses of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown from October-December 2021. This is an initiative of the Decade of Centenaries 2021, funded by the Dept of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media.
