lego winner 2019

On Saturday 21st Sept we awarded our Lego prizewinners 2019 their prizes, with the help of An Cathaoirleach Cllr Shay Brennan and Elaine Bowden from Bricks4 Kidz, South County Dublin.

A huge congratulations to our winners but also to all 88 children that entered the competition and livened up the children's library in dlr LexIcon over the last few days from when the colourful explosion of Lego arrived last Wed 18th Sept right through Culture Night and to Saturday 21st Sept when we said a sad farewell to our lego builds for another year. The standard, flair, imagination and skill were all of a very high standard and it was a difficult judging process for Elaine Bowden from Bricks4Kidz.ie  All entrants put in a huge amount of time and effort into their builds and they are all winners and we do hope they will be encouraged to keep building and to keep entering our Lego competition.

All children that entered the lego competition received a certificate as well as a Bricks4Kidz wrist band and lego tattoos. Our winners received One4All vouchers as well as vouchers dlr Leisure Centres, as well as Bricks4Kidz t-shirts and bags and the crowd favourite winner also wins a voucher for a weeks lego building camp or a term of after school camp with Bricks4Kidz and also gets their name added to the perpetual trophy that resides in dlr LexIcon.

Well done all!
