Proposed Temporary Closure of George's Street Lower

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has received an application from Cumnor Building & Civil Engineering Contractors Ltd to temporarily close George’s Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire from its junction at Library Road to its junction at Sussex Street. The proposed closure will run from Thursday, 28th September 2023 to Wednesday, 4th October 2023.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
The purpose of the closure is resurfacing road outside St. Michael’s Hospital as part of final phase of Myrtle Square and Convent Lane Greening Project.
Any interested parties may lodge objections/observations in writing to the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Wednesday, 20th September, 2023 or email info@dlrcoco.ie.
