Temporary Closure of Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock

I refer to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has approved an application from GMC Utilities Group Limited, Millenium Business Park, Cappagh Road, Dublin 11 to temporarily close Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock from its junction with Anglesea Avenue to its junction with N31 Frascati Road. This section of road will be closed on Thursday August10th, 2023 between 7:00pm and 11:00pm. For buses, the road will be closed from Fleurville / R825 Stillorgan Road junction to the N31 Frascati Road junction. 

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.   

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate permanent reinstatement.
